I’ve been in Memphis since last Tuesday and I’ve never been in a city where the residents openly would rather live somewhere or openly admit that there’s really not much to do on the weekend. I’ve also never been in a city where I haven’t been able to find the “hip” area to hang out in. My colleagues though are wonderful, wonderful people and being with them for an extended period of time has been great but I will not miss this city one bit when I leave Friday. I have taken advantage of this solitude to work on interviews for [PANK] (which now I’m only two months behind) and the novel (44.8k). Also, I was able to watch the season finale of Game of Thrones (not well paced and a let down from last week’s episode) and the next to last episode in this season’s Mad Men (superbly paced  and full of oh shit! moments).

I’ve got some flash fiction over at Bong is Bard, which you can read here. Also, there’s a little something of mine in Dragnet, which you can check out here.
